"You know just how to get my attention." Xie Lian then blinks at the question and ducks his head, embarrassed, "Am I that obvious?"

He is starving.

Hua Cheng just smiles and gestures to a table behind him that has what amounts to a small feast laid up on it and two plush chairs for them.

"Would gege join me for dinner?"

He bows in gratitude and walks to the table, settling himself in a seat. Ah, now this is a good way to end a hectic day!

Hua Cheng has of course made sure that the food being served are Xie Lian's favorites, along with a couple of dishes he thinks that he might like.

He slides down into the seat directly opposite Xie Lian. "Only the best for gege," he says with a small grin.

The smell is tantalizing and Xie Lian serves himself. He beams at Hua Cheng and bites into a dumpling. The savory flavor has him humming and rocking happily in his chair.

"If that's what you think, I don't need the food. I already have my San Lang."
